FROM THE START OF PRE-PRODUCTION THE MAGPIE TEAM HAVE ENDEAVOURED TO OFFER AN INSIGHT INTO THE MAKING OF A MICRO-BUDGET FILM. MOVIE FANS, HISTORIANS AND FILMMAKERS ALIKE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FOLLOW THE PROJECT IN DETAIL.

Magpie is a crowdfunded film and that’s why we wanted to share the journey of bringing it to the screen with all of our supporters and backers. The team was incredibly fortunate to have the help of a number of professional photographers and filmmakers to document the making of the film, many of whom did so voluntarily in support of the project. A ‘Making Of’ documentary will feature on the DVD and Blu-Ray of the film and short excerpts will be made available online near to release in 2018.
